Who reads, watches and listens
The Irad Media Research Center was founded in Talas in 2006 by journalists and sociologists. We measure the audiences of Iradi newspapers, television, radio and websites, monitor coverage, and run media literacy courses for teachers and students. We do not belong to any outlet or party, and we publish our methods with our results.
Key figures
- Television is the main source of news for most residents of the Zone over 40 (Television and Online Audience Survey of the ISEZ, 2023).
- The Talas Herald, the most-read paper of the Zone: about 34,000 copies on a weekday in print (about 60,000 in 2006) and about 420,000 monthly unique visitors to its website, a fifth of them abroad (2023).
Our audience figures are used by newspapers and advertisers. Outlets that want to be measured can contact us.
