Talks in schools

Since 2017 our volunteers have given a 45-minute talk in more than 120 schools of the Zone. The talk is for grades 9-12 and is given by two volunteers with a class teacher present. It is about consent, respect and the law, and about where to get help. It does not show any frightening images.

What students ask

«What if she agrees afterwards?» «What if it was my grandmother's story?» «Is an elopement the same?» We answer every question. Our answer is always the same: what makes the difference is whether she said yes before, freely.
